Full description

Our first stop is bustling city of Split, built around a Roman emperor’s palace known as Diocletian Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Palace is packed with attractions, small shops, bars and restaurants. After sightseeing, enjoy your free time in exploring the cobblestone streets, go shopping, have lunch at local restaurants or sip on coffee at the city's famous seafront. Near the Trogir, we will have a snack at Pantana Mlinice. Our next stop is Trogir, a small coastal city brimming with medieval palaces, churches, and squares. City's main showstopper is the 13th-century cathedral of St. Lawrence. Its profuse collection of Romanesque and Renaissance buildings earned it World Heritage status in 1997.

Tour guide Josip told us a lot of interesting things about the country, history and culture during the trip. The city tours were just as informative and not too much at once. Josip was happy to answer questions. The stop at the mill with a small snack was OK. All in all, the trip was worth the money. Just a little more time in Trogir would have been nice.
