My husband and daughter went on this cruise in during their stay in Rome. They had an amazing time. Gorgeous scenery, very warm and caring tour guide, not busy at all and the price is hard to believe! I feel so lucky that I came across his trip, what a treasure! Not only the saw fish and got to snorkle, they were shown historic scenery as well. They got plenty of commentary in English, too We also had a great experience scheduling the trip on a short notice! Full description

Take a cruise along the coast of Sperlonga to discover bays, sea caves, and more. Swim in the blue waters of the Blue Grotto with a snorkel to see incredible marine life and rock formations. Learn about the medieval history of this Italian coastline and its links to Ulysses as you relax on deck. Board the boat and immediately set cruise. As you leave the port, take in the first wonder of the trip: Grotta di Tiberio. Marvel at the natural cavity decorated with marble sculptures depicting the deeds of Ulysses. Continue sailing along the coast and admire the medieval towers dating back to 1500. Then, discover the natural limestone caves of Bazzano and Capovento. Marvel at the suggestive Grotta delle Bambole or doll cave, so called for the bizarre shapes of its stalactites. Next, reach the incredible unspoiled bay of the Blue Grotto, which takes its name from the intense blue of its water. Stop here for half an hour, good swimmers can swim inside the cave, or you can stay in the bay for a refreshing swim and some snorkeling. Enjoy the waters, which are particularly clean, fresh, and crystal clear thanks to the natural spring that flows from the cliffs. Alternatively, relax on board. On the way back, admire the views as you approach the beautiful Torre Truglia, the symbol of Sperlonga, with the historic center behind it, providing the perfect photo opportunity.

We'll meet at Porto di Sperlonga (Sperlonga’s harbour). Just walking by Torre Truglia tower, you have to turn on the right, where our ticket office is located, and a reception desk awaits you on the dock (first desk on on the left). Please note: we are in a limited traffic area (ZTL). If you reach Sperlonga by car, you can park at Parking Delle Vite, our partner, in via delle vite. It's a private parking with a shuttle service that will take you directly to the port. It is required to arrive 15 minutes early to formalize boarding paperwork. Tardiness for departure will not be tolerated.

Know before you go

- For the best experience, we recommend chosing morning bookings rather than in the afternoon, because the sea is always calmer. In fact, it may happen that in the afternoon the sea sonditions could quickly get more rough due to mistral winds. If that may occour, the Tour may have to be canceled with little notice for the guests.
- This experience will only take place in favorable weather conditions, in case of cancellation you can move the booking to another date or ask for a ticket refund.
- It is absolutely necessary to arrive at least 15 minutes before departure time to complete the boarding procedures. In case of late arrival on departure time, it will not be possible to obtain a refund or rescheduling of the reservation.
- Upon request, we can organize the tour for large groups, (more than 12 people, up to 100 at the same time) using, if necessary, more boats at our disposal, based on the number of participants.
