We loved this tour! The path to the temple through the rice fields is stunning in and of itself, and so peaceful. Our guide, Haidar, was fantastic and got us there in great time. He was very knowledgeable about the rice fields, the flora and fauna, and the temple. This tour is well worth it.

Visit the beautiful and remote Selogriyo Temple and trek through the surrounding scenic rice terraces on this small group guided day trip with pickup from your accommodation in Yogyakarta (or Borobudur area).

Begin your journey with getting picked up directly from your accommodation, then travel with your friendly driver to a peaceful Selogriyo Temple. Your journey will take about two hours from Yogyakarta city, and one hour from Borobudur area.

Admire the fairytale scenery as you approach the secluded hilltop temple by foot. Hike through the iconic rice terraces, which grow paddy, beans, corn, and more. Enjoy the majestic landscape and the quiet of the countryside.
