    Following pick-up from your hotel in Khao Lak, head to the Takuapa local market (only guests picked up from Khao lak, guests from other pickup locations will not visit local market) to browse and look at all the products. From there, continue to the elephant rescue camp. Feed these amazing animals some bananas and cool them off with a bath. Next, visit the monkey temple. Eat a Thai-style lunch at the local restaurant next to the river before bamboo rafting along the Khao Sok river. Enjoy as your guides gently glide the bamboo rafts downstream as you admire the dramatic limestone mountains and serene sounds of the jungle. Stop at the river bank for some trekking and relaxing in the front of a limestone cave after enjoying a coffee break. This coffee is made in a bamboo stick and served in bamboo cups, which you can take home with you. At the end of your tour, transfer back to your hotel...

    3. Phuket Adventure: Monkey Cave, Rafting, Zip Line & Waterfall

    Begin your full-day program with a 1.5-hour drive to the adventure site. The first stop is the Monkey Cave at Suwan Kuha Temple. Inside the temple is a 15-meter-long reclining Buddha image. White water rafting is next on the itinerary. Experience a thrilling adventure on a 5-kilometer-long course. Then, head to the zip line site for the thrill of zipping along the treetops, stopping at 5 platforms (30 to 250 meters long), before taking a break for lunch at the camp.* Continue to either Ton Pariwat Waterfall or Sa Nang Manora Waterfall (this depends on the crowd and amount of other tourists during the day). Take a short walk through the forest as you make your way to the waterfall, where you can swim and relax for around 30-45 minutes. If you add the ATV option, you will also enjoy a thrilling 30 minute ATV ride.

    They were very accomodating. If you didn't want to do one activity, they'll give you more time on the other activities so you can get your money's worth! Warning: IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET WET, DONT CHOOSE THIS. Common sense, people. We had some tourists get mad for getting wet. Go home. They will be splashing water to each other for fun. Please expect that.

    Don't miss out on a visit to Khao Sok National Park, one of the oldest virgin rainforests in the world. Get picked up from your accommodation in Khao Lak and drive for about an hour to reach the park. Make a stop at Khao Sok Viewpoint to enjoy a panoramic view of the rainforest covered in dense morning mist. Arrive at the Sok River and board a bamboo raft paddled by experienced local guides. Take in views of the dense rainforest and towering limestone cliffs passing on either side and listen as your guides tell you about the many species of flora and fauna that make the forest a paragon of biodiversity.  Stop along the river and have a steaming cup of coffee served in bamboo cup. Board a bus bound for a local cave temple and hang out with the wild monkeys that linger in the entrance. Afterwards, get transported back to you accommodation in Khao Lak.

    Lots of monkeys, beautiful scenery on the river boat, nice coffee stop in the jungle. Robert and Peter and our paddlers took excellent care of us.

    6. Khao Lak: Raft Expedition & Sea Turtle Conservation Center

    Begin your day tour with a hotel pick-up in Khao Lak between 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, and depart for the river. Hop on a bamboo raft and float along the waters, relax and enjoy the stunningly beautiful rainforest around you as your raft is pulled by a local boatman. Visit a sea turtle conservation center working to save and increase the number of sea turtles in the region. The Royal Thai Navy plays an active role in turtle conservation and baby turtles are brought to the center, where they are nursed for 6-8 months before being released into the sea. Finish the tour with a trip to Ton Pling Waterfall, the most popular waterfall in the area. Experience the lovely atmosphere and marvel at the amazing environment surrounding you. Swim in the small ponds at the waterfall and just enjoy the relaxing ambiance, before being dropped off back at your hotel.

    No need to wear sport shoes as there is little walking involved. Thongs or sandals are all that is needed. Also make sure you wear your swimwear as there is little opportunity to change at the waterfall

Elephants very well looked after great experience lovely place overall dinner in great surroundings and food really nice. Rafting really good guys paddling them really friendly. Turtles nice to go and see but wouldn’t have gone out of my way to go.

Lovely day in Khao Sok: hike in the rainforest with a skilled and sympathetic local guide, boat trip on the stunningly beautiful Ratchaprapha Lake ... and then a swim in the lake after a long hot day - wow!
