4 Day 3 Night Mundari Cattle Camp Tour

Enjoy interacting with the Mundari ethnic group in South Sudan. The land is bounded by east of the white Nile and their main activity is livestock keeping. Enjoy the beautiful Cultural Activities such as dancing, dressing, food, marriages. As many people in the area, the Mundari culture is transmitted through, songs, dances, poems and other body expressions that reflects good, generosity and other core values. Ritual sanctification is an important part of cultural identity. Young men must undergo initiation rights, where the initiates go out of the community and stay away with elders for 3 months. The passage to adulthood is completed by a mark on their forehead with a V scar cut. Experience the unforgettable life and story of the great cattle keepers of South Sudan. Day 1 Pick up from the airport and interact with our tour guide and later be dropped to the hotel/accommodation. Day 2 Get picked up by tour guide at 8:00 am from your accommodation site in Juba and start 4 hours city tour where you will visit the Early Church Kator, the John Garang Mausoleum, pass by the Ministry Road, Konyo Konyo Market and the River Nile. You will have lunch in one of the hotels along the River Nile as you enjoy the breeze and the nature. At 2:00pm you will start your journey to Mundari Cattle Camp. Where you will enjoy, experience and participate the life of Mundari as they bring cattle's from grazing and prepare them to rest. A beautiful sunset is something you will not miss to watch. You will spend the night in a hotel Day 3 The following morning you will enjoy, experience and participate the amazing cultural life of the Mundari's as they prepare their flock. The morning routine of milking, massaging the cattle's, hair dying and creating attachments with the cattle's. You will not miss to watch the sunrise. You will interact, greet, enjoy and learn from the community and cruise River Nile in Terekeka. You will have lunch in one of the local restaurants in Terekeka. And by 3:00pm, you will start your journey back to Juba where you will be dropped at your accommodation. Day 4 Visit Traditional market 2 hours in the morning and shop accessories that you will wish to carry along. Drop off to the airport 2 hours before departure.
