I booked this with some trepidation as my daughter is 9 and a huge Harry Potter fan. I was worried that she would be disappointed that the locations looked nothing like the film but the way it was done with the ipads showing the complete scene from the film while you were stood on the same street corner was very effective. Being sorted into houses and having a quiz between the teams made it entertaining too. It is quite a lot of walking - ours coped well aged 9 but was starting to get tired by the end. It takes in a lot of the London sights as well and makes you realise how small the actual centre of London is. Tom our guide was brilliant - informative and patient, no mean feat to traipse that amount of people round the streets and on the tube!
We enjoyed our tour very much. Each stop was wonderful and pleasant. Between each stop, our tour guide, Phil, offered a breadth and depth of knowledge about the sites we were visiting as well as a plethora of other topics, with a great sense of humor making the long bus trip seem much shorter. Our driver, "Michaelangelo", showed his skill, especially on the narrow roads.
This trip was a surprise wedding anniversary present to my husband. We were slightly apprehensive at the beginning but once on the walkway, there was no turning back! It was such a sense of achievement and we both thoroughly enjoyed every moment, though it was hard work! Thank you to Carla and Natalie for looking after everyone the whole time. Fateha & Adam
Out of Personal mistakes we were too late - But Geoff and Bethany tried to do their best so we nevertheless could join the group - we were so happy about that!!! Bethany really wanted to make this day a special day which she - no surprise- made! Even when we had detailed questions about London‘s history she easily answered! Thanks again! It was a pleasure!
So many things to do in London but make sure this on your to do list from London bridge to the Thames barrier going 35 mph in a speed boat feels more like 100 mph .Great guide who kept things moving and a soundtrack that'll have you singing along to at least one song 10/10
