Hilton Head Island: Dolphin Nature Cruise
- Duration: 1.5 hours
Absolutely fabulous. Alfred was extremely knowledgeable, entertaining to listen to, and full of fun details. The amount of information he had -from a wide array of topics- was incredible. From the history of every decade in the area, to the Architecture, And even the plant life. We walked around the majority of the old town- he knew all the secret passages And most beautiful Alleyways to go through. Such a great tour. We went with our 4 young children, and the pace was perfect as we got to stop all along the way and admire different things he told us about. It was worth every single penny, the highlight of our trip and an absolute must. It made everything else we did in Charleston more meaningful because he gave us such a great base understanding of all facets of this lovely town.
I always look for small group walking tours as I find them more educational. Plus you tend to see things that most people overlook or don’t know about because it’s not considered a “high point.” Al was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and took us through all these little alleys to so many points that were on my list that I was able to check them off! He also gave great restaurant recommendations to get the seasons current delicacy of she crab soup and soft shell crabs! Thanks Al for a very educational and fun walking tour.
My wife and I had a wonderful and memorable tour with our guide, Nick. He was quite personable, and informative about both the history and ecology of the area. Although my wife and I didn't see the dolphins, others in our tour did. We did see great blue heeons, egrets, an osprey and a bald eagle. I would recommend the activity and our guide Nick.
Overall a very informative tour. Captain was knowledgeable and affable while some of the crew seemed to be a little off and somewhat disinterested
It was a little crowded but the history the guide knew was amazing. There is so much to see you almost have to take a carriage ride.
