Meet your tour guides at Sorrento Pier, collect your equipment and then board the luxury ‘Moonraker.’ Where you can meet your captain and check in onboard. We throw off the rope as cruise into the sheltered shallow waters of Port Phillip Bay. Once onboard you can relax on the upper sundeck, inside lounge area or taking in the salt air on the front of the boat in a beanbag lounge. As we cruise out into the Bay your snorkel guides will walk you through all the activities, help familiarise you with the boat and all the features and areas to explore and then we gear up and get ready to slid into the water. We visit the Australian Fur Seals and search the coastal locations for the resident dolphins. We love the Australian fur seals and these friendly, fun and inquisitive Seals are just as special as the dolphins. The clear shallow waters surrounding the boat are filled with seals of all ages and sizes, the seal structures often attract small sea stars, giant smooth rays which glide beneath on the seafloor and sometimes spider crabs at one of the structures. You will come face to face with these inquisitive animals and this experience is something that you will remember for life. Once back onboard we serve lunch, hot drinks and snacks ensuring you’re energised and ready for our next snorkel. Once the dolphins are located we observe their behaviour and location before we approach the pod. In small groups of 10, we slide quietly into the water, floating on the surface. We wait, watch and listen for the dolphin's squeaks and whistles to get louder, a sign that they will join us and swim beneath our group. Each and every encounter is totally unique. Being wild and free, Each encounter is entirely based on what the dolphins are doing when located, sometimes they will swim around us for endless minuets and other times they will glide past for a look and continue swimming, We spend as much time with them as possible both swimming and sightseeing but need to ensure we are not changing their behaviour or lifestyle. The dolphins are resident to Port Phillip Bay however they are completely wild and aren’t always located on every cruise. We believe this is part of the experience of seeking out an encounter with wild animals. Should you not see the dolphins on your tour you are welcome to come back for free anytime within 30 days. All our cruises include a variety of inclusions at no additional cost! So your cruise ticket is all you need to pay, we include lunch, snacks and drinks marine park fees and taxes For guests who are unable to swim this activity is not suitable for you and we recommend you travel as a sightseeing guests. An amazing day with Ronnie who was my host He was extremely knowledgeable of the Melbourne history. The day was very relaxed with excellent stop offs (including a winery, beach huts, Arthur’s seat De point estate sculpture park). Ronnie was very flexible and was happy to do what I wanted to see. Had an amazing lunch at a fantastic place and then had a wonderful scenic drive of the Mornington peninsula coastline. All in all a fantastic day and Ronnie was the perfect host. Would highly recommend.

It was an incredible experience. We really wanted to swim with dolphins. We saw them briefly and were in the water with them. They looked at each other briefly, but then they moved on and had no time for us. It's completely OK, they are wild and living freely, that's exactly what we loved so much. They decide for themselves. The seals are soooo cute. Some are not shy, many are very curious and come very close. We also saw a string ray.

Very enriched and enjoyable experience from Melbourne city to bay, taking ferry to Mornington peninsula. Thanks to Shane’s tour guide, very knowledgeable about local, sports and best sightseeing spots. Lunch on ferry was great, Beer tasting was pretty fun experience. Thanks to E X A
