The service from the meet & greet staff and family was so warm even though we literally saw them only for the short time it takes to drive us to and from the hotel and during the wait for the boat at the marina. Looking at the boats that the family-owned company operates, we were a teeny weeny bit jealous that we weren't actually on one but we did book for a terribly small number of people (just the two of us) and rather last minute (the day before) and yet, they came up trumps and supllied us a good captain and a pretty good boat if a little smaller than their usual. The Captain was really informative about all the sights we went to see even though we could see he struggled a little on some of the translation. He made good recommendations and changes in the itinerary in view of the timing that we had. Would definitely sail with Restart again (and with a larger group) next time!
Good value for money. The service of the pick up has been from a meeting poin just few steps my accommodation and the driver was really professional. This is a quality of all the staff, since the check in with Lucia at the port. She was also on board with us together with our guide Stefania, who made a really interesting explication of the Gulf of Naples and all the sorrentine peninsula during the route. Than, the tour around the island has been breath-taking! The caves, the Grottoes and the faraglioni were fantastic! And still, having Stefania on board has been an added value. A big thanks to all of you!
The tour was basic, but a good way to get to Capri and go around the whole island by boat. I think it worked out to be good value. I’m glad we took the tour. The only downsides were that we were not given any information about Capri before our 6 hours free time. It would have been good to have some top tips on where to go and what to see. Also, social distancing on the boat was not the easiest to maintain. Everyone had to wear masks for the duration of the journey, which was great, but everyone had to sit quite close together.
Very good service and attentive. They sell water on the way to Capri and back. Just wish they had a better way to separate the people that payed for the tour around the island and the people that just pay to get to the island. They have you get off the boat to wait in line to get on again. The tour says 7:30 but you actually leave at 8:30. The actual tour around the island was very good and they made quick stops in the important sites for you to admire as they explained, gave information, on said site.
We booked this only 24 hours before departure and I was very impressed with how quickly the team got back to us with confirmation of our pick up time from our hotel. On the way to Capri the tour was primarily in Italian but on the return trip, the host Giovanni was excellent and provided detailed explanations in English with some lovely singing in true Italian style! The tour is worth it as you see a lot more of the Island than you would with a ferry.
