Treccia mozzarella is created through a process of spinning, cutting and twisting. The result is a wonderful shape with unique subtle differences in texture and consistency with normal Fiordilatte.
It can be shaped up to a meter and it is particularly suitable for complex dishes served on big plates, for mozzarella sandwiches (where mozzarella basically replaces bread) and for interesting salads. You will actively participate to the "spinning" process in a beautiful organic farmhouse on the Sorrentine Peninsula.
Your local Mozzarella masters will demonstrate the process of the famous Sorrento braid, with a full explanation of its secrets. The participants will have caps, aprons and will be invited to the spinning of the mozzarella. A fun activity for everyone which will be combined with great tasting of local delicacies and mozzarella.
