Full description

Begin your adventure at the meeting point where transportation will bring you to the start of the trail in Agerola - Bomerano by a comfortable van. Take a pair of hiking poles and walk for 3.5 hours in spectacular scenery through old vineyards, terraced gardens, farmhouses, and monasteries about 700 meters above sea level. Listen closely as your knowledgeable guide will give you all the information to handle the trail safely. Learn the history and traditions of the area from your guide and you will have a chance to meet and talk to the local farmers on your way. Finish the tour at the end of the loop trail in Bomerano, where you will be picked up to be transported back to the meeting point where the journey started.

Today’s hike Path of the gods was our best day in Italy! The views and scenery are spectacular, some of the best we’ve ever seen. The guide Pepe was really lovely and friendly and gave us so much interesting information on the area . We had a nice small group of people to walk with. The path was good , clearly marked and easily manageable if you’re a regular walker. It was lovely to see how the farmers in the region live and work alongside their animals and it made us realise how much effort time and energy go into making the wine and olive oil we take so much for granted. We stopped for a delicious snack of home grown tomatoes, cheese , bread and red wine at the farmers home. All in all an excellent day with many happy memories made. Thank you
