What a tour! The route was fantastic through the hills of Campania with the amazing nature green fields. Gaetano was the BEST guide that we could ever imagine to have! Very polite, funny, illustrative. He makes you feel very comfortable! It was our first time in Italy and during the tour he answered to all our questions for many places in South Italy! We met two fantastic families with professional background of wine production and real love and care for wine and food! Also we took our lunch in each winery which was out of the tour price! Gaetano stoped during the tour every time we asked for. The best guide and the best value for money tour that we could ever imagine! We recommend it to every traveler!! Viva South Italia!!

Full description

Visit the best wine cellars of Campania with an expert sommelier guide and driver. You will taste some of the most prestigious wines in the world on a 8-hour private tour from Naples. Get picked up and enjoy a scenic drive through the lower slopes of the Apennines, east of Naples. Your first stop will be the tiny commune of Montemiletto, which takes its name from latin "Mons Militum". It’s the grapes you have come to investigate, however, at Donna Elvira winery, widely regarded as one of Italy’s most innovative wine estates. After a tour of the bucolic vineyards and cellars, taste 3 different wines produced on the estate. Break for lunch at a local restaurant or agriturismo, then continue your wine tour at Montemarano, one of the best centers of production of Aglianico red grape. Walk through vineyards to feel the grapes, and smell the scents of wine that's not yet ready to taste. Then, sample 3 examples of the estate’s wines, including the notable Taurasi, the red wine from Campania granted the highest "DOCG" mark of quality.
