Flavio was AWESOME!! The weather wasn’t great, but boating conditions were explained we were offered the opportunity to cancel with a refund. I am so glad we didn’t!! We went directly to Capri and the weather cleared up. Flavio served us fresh fruit and Prosecco, took us to all the most beautiful places, took pictures of us. We stopped for a swim! He was very knowledgeable about the island—its history, geology, current famous residents and offered restaurant recommendations. We taxied to the wrong Marina from Anacapri (be sure to specify Marina Grande if you taxi from Anacapri)…Flavio saved the day and picked us up from the Marina Piccolo and we were on our way in 2 minutes! Would book again in a heartbeat!!

Wow! What a great experience! Flavio was a wonderful guide and more than made up for not being able to go to the Blue Grotto. Keep in mind that there is no guarantee of that and a decision isn’t made until that morning, conditions permitting. But it’s still worth it even if you can’t do the BG. Also, if you want to get out of the tourist fray in Capri and are up for a steep walk, try the Scala Venezia walk up to Anacapri. It’s about a mile straight up ( mostly steps) but so beautiful and serene. Anacapri is a very charming village where we spent most of our time….didn’t even bother with Capri. And the boat tour around the island was breathtaking. We got to swim and snorkel and enjoy Prosecco and fresh fruit with our trip mates. So much fun!

Would have liked the tour guide Lucio to give a little more of the history of the area of Capri. He was very polite and accommodating. The driver was very cautious and concerned, and we appreciated his concern for our safety! Unfortunately, due to previous poor weather, we weren’t able to snorkel in the blue grotto.
