Full description

Spend a full day exploring the UNESCO-protected Amalfi coast on this tour from Sorrento. Travel along the road known as the Amalfitana and admire the stretch of coastline famous for its natural beauty and charming towns. See the Li Galli islands and the isle of Capri in the distance. Spend 2 hours exploring the enchanting town of Positano before heading to Amalfi, passing through picturesque Praiano, Furore and Conca dei Marini. In Amalfi, visit of the Cathedral of St. Andrew and enjoy the beach or a boat trip at additional cost. In Ravello take in the amazing views from Villa Rufolo. Depart for Sorrento, driving back along the Amalfi Coast.

Nando was an excellent guide and driver and we had a fabulous day. There was enough time in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello for us to get a flavour of the towns. We particularly enjoyed the optional boat ride in Amalfi and the set menu and wine for lunch (again optional) was good value.

Great tour. The driver Pepe was very good at pointing out interesting sights/ houses/ churches etc on the drive. I’m glad we were in a small van ( there were 7 of us) rather than a big coach. Pepe arrived early for our pick up, (at 8.30) just as we arrived at the hotel gate and the other 2 pickups were en route so no wasted time in the morning. We were notified the day before that pickup was at 8.45 rather than between 7.15 and 8, so we had an unexpected lie in!

An excellent day out viewing the coast. Nino our driver and guide was entertaining and informative. He did his utmost to keep us all safe and get us to the heart of each town, even though there were many visitors. This is a great tour for those that want to visit the coast and see the charming villages. An hour in Positano and Ravello and 2 hours in Amalfi was fine. A boat trip in Amalfi was possible by arrangement with driver.
