Things to do in Soma Bay

This was a fabulous trip, with a really lovely crew. Ahmed and the team worked really hard to make sure that all of us had a good time. The chef cooked up a fantastic lunch on board, really tasty food, and the wider team were great with the kids, making funny towel head-dresses to keep them laughing. We felt well looked after and safe at all times. Unfortunately, we couldn't snorkel as the sea was just a bit too choppy, but we were lucky enough to see a trio of dolphins (including a baby) and Ahmed extended the time we had on Megawish Island, so we didn't lose out on anything. My only criticism of the entire day was the small and rather cramped transport there and back. The mini bus didn't come into our hotel as we were asked to meet on the road - which meant a few interesting conversations with other 'taxi's that stopped to try and convince us they were our ride - and we had to wait 20 mins or so for the return ride once we arrived back, but honestly - a great trip, money well spent.
