Drive past moss-covered lava fields as well as quaint farms and villages going through an area rich in viking history, heritage, and folklore. Go past several major volcanoes - such as Katla, Hekla, and the famous Eyjafjallajökull. With luck, on clear days you will have a view of the Westman Islands just off the coast. Afterwards, stop at Skógafoss Waterfall, where it is possible to climb 572 steps to the top to view the magnificent vista and rainbows above. After exploring the beautiful waterfalls of the South coast you will spend the rest of the day visiting glaciers and the black sand beaches. The guide was absolutely amazing, making the experience even more enjoyable. The sights are stunning, and the ATV ride is an absolute must! It’s the best way to see so much more of the area, especially if you prefer to limit hiking and walking. If you have limited mobility due to age or other factors, the ATV is the perfect option—you get to take in all the breathtaking views without any issues. We decided to upgrade to a side-by-side vehicle, and it was fantastic. Driving in the snow with an off-road vehicle was a first for us, and it was an absolute blast! It’s ideal for anyone looking to experience nature and explore off-the-grid areas in an exciting yet accessible way. Highly recommended for adventurers of all levels!

I was the only person booked at the time so i basicaly got private tour. My tourgide was Oskar and he was great. He was very knowledgable and told me interesting informations about the vulcanos the beach and we also visited plane wreck. After the tour i even saw the northern lights on my way back to the hotel so i would deffinetly reccomend anyone to try it out...

The ATV tour was impressive: snowstorm, black, partially snow-covered beach, heavy surf and of course the plane wreck. We had a lot of fun. By the way: with warm clothes and the waterproof suits we didn't freeze. Important: good gloves. On our tour we had -8 degrees C.

Beyond expectations. The sun was out and our tour guide was amazing taking us along the band sand beach to places we would never have experienced otherwise.

The excursion was incredible and the bus driver was excellent. Greetings from Italy!
