Georgi was very kind, knowledgeable and all in all a great guide. He told us all a lot about Rila, it's history, it's importance and the religion. The rest of our vacation I've been looking at the way people held their hands in some of the paintings because he explained the meaning. We also talked about Bulgaria too and learned so much from are super guide. The pyramid are an interesting natural phenomenon to see and you better see them now because they won't be there forever.

Highly recommended tour. Rila Monastery was very impressive. Guide and driver was Kiril, who picked me up at the hotel on time and reported a lot of interesting things about the upcoming tour on the way. Well, his suggestion was to prefer the short hike to the pyramids of Stob, since later in the day it was much more strenuous with the heat. clear recommendation to do this tour.

Very pleasant tour with Kiril. We spoke English, but there are also German-speaking guides. Kiril is an interesting, differentiated person, versatile educated, enthusiastic about the nature and culture of his country, with a lot of experience as a mountain guide, also in other places in the world, e.g. Morocco or Nepal. I did the tour alone with him, we were very lucky with the weather, saw everything as stated in the tour description, but the discussions were the best. I highly recommend this tour with Kiril.
