I enjoyed the tou. I went in May so it wasn't tourist season. Quite that time of year. I found it interesting learning about the smithwicks family and how they contributed to Kilkenny. I don't want to spoil it but there were a few surprises in the family room. You get to see the old machinery and how it was brewed. You taste the barley and yeast. The guide knowledge on the brewing process was commendable. The staff are nice and helpful. When the tour finished you have a pint or soft drink. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kilkenny. Steeped in history.

Would highly recommend this tour, Darren was fantastic. Tasting paddle is a great way to try all the different types of ale. Thanks again guys

it was very interesting on how it is made but we only got 1 pint each for the price we paid should have got another drink for it..

Great tour, very informative and interactive. We liked it better than the Guinness tour in Dublin.

Good time - low-cost and about the right amount of time. Friendly folks!
