We were fortunate to have our tour with Mr Ali. Not only was he knowledgeable about the history of Zanzibar and Stone Town, he made the tour fun and shared unique facts about the sites. It was heavily raining the day of our tour. Normally we would have rescheduled but we were leaving the city that evening. Mr Ali was so gracious with postponing the tour an hour to allow time for the rain to pass and when it didn’t, he sent out of his way to make the tour as enjoyable as possible. We learned a lot about the city, the famous people who lived here (Freddy Mercury), the past slave trade and the beautiful historic doors. You won’t regret taking this tour and hopefully you get to experience Stone Town with Mr Ali.

The driver picked us up at the hotel even though we were far away from Stone Town (Nungwi). We got there a little later than planned due to traffic but the guide was waiting for us. We walked around the city with him for about 3 hours and the tour was very good. Ali knows a lot about the history of the country and the city and answered every question. Super happy with everything from pickup to drop off at the hotel.

The pick-up and tour were wonderful. We got an insight into the history of Zanzibar and questions were answered competently. We always felt safe and well looked after as two women travelling alone. Thank you also for the pleasant pick-up and journey.

Excellent!! Mr. Ali gave us so much information and was the perfect guide for the pleasant tour of Stonetown. Thank you very much!
