What people are saying about Sky Lagoon

Overall rating

4.8
(1,205 reviews)

The Sky Lagoon exceeded my expectations! This place is magical. We easily caught the bus from the bus station and were dropped off in the parking lot of the Sky Lagoon. Check-in was a breeze and they escorted us to our private chaining facility where we were provided lockers, a shower, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer. There are stairs inside that lead you into the lagoon. The view of the ocean from the infinity ledge was breathtaking. We went at sunset and the view was magnificent. The 7 step ritual was so fun and relaxing. The salt scrub made my skin feel like butter. There is a 3 drink maximum per person from the swim up bar. The return bus picked us up in the parking lot when we were ready to head home. The bus runs every hour, so we were allowed to stay as long as we liked. I know a lot of people talk about how great the Blue Lagoon is, but honestly I don’t think it could be as amazing as the Sky Lagoon. I highly recommend it!

Very hygienic and relaxing, the 7 step ritual was definitely worth the money. The lagoon overlooking the ocean is absolutely stunning and the water does not dry out your hair. Best lagoon we’ve visited in Iceland and definitely not hyped enough. Absolutely better than blue lagoon. Wished we had the time to visit more than once!

The Sky Lagoon was a unique experience. The view from the Lagoon is unbelievable. We went during day time (11am) and it wasn't busy, but has gotten fairly busy by the time we left, around 3pm. The experience throughout was amazing and was worth the money.

Our host whilst young (24) certainly had many years of experience and knowledge behind him, telling us Icelandic facts and tales along the journey. Great spots and the sky lagoon was next level. Highly recommend!

Had a good time, enjoyed the 7 steps, drinks were abit expensive but it’s to be expected.
