Svolvær: Northern Lights and Full Steam Cruise with Tasting

As we leave the harbour of Svolvær, we will set out in the direction of Full Steam near the town of Henningsvær. On the way and if conditions allow, we will deploy our underwater drone to explore the underwater world. Our guides will share information of what we see and keep an eye out for the Northern Lights we might spot along the way. About 1 hour into the tour we step on land at Full Steam at the outskirts of the historic fishing village of Henningsvær. We will visit this 200 year old cod steaming warehouse where you'll hear tales and stories of the the fishing history and culture of the region. Taste a bite of true Norwegian caviar to bring the stories alive. Around 21:00 we jump back aboard and sail closer to Henningsvær before we set back out into the darkness of Vestfjorden where we'll have the opportunities to see the magical Northern Lights if the weather allows. We'll slowly make our way along the 'wall of lofoten' with rugged peaks towards our home port in Svolvær.

Had a great experience. The stop in Henningsvær was amazing. Had a great little tasting, learned interesting things. The crew was very friendly. They had a presentation to explain the auroras but we (luckily) saw them before that haha. They had a bar on board but it costed extra to get a drink. The boat is great. Totally worth it but if you really wanna make decent photos this is not the best way to see them. The boat doesn’t stop so you can’t take photos with long exposure. It’s mostly to enjoy them with your eyes.

Quality staff, attentive and passionate. Even though we didn't see the Northern Lights for weather reasons, it was a great experience! We loved the tasting and the explanations from the fishermen as well as all the information provided by the crew on board! Nice excursion 👍🏼

The peak of our Lofoten vacation. Incredible water, sun, caribbean beaches, a nice and generous guide. Scouting for orcas was a bonus. Stabile Prijon double kayak in good condition.

Magnificent kayak trip for all levels. We were able to postpone the date because the weather was unfavorable on the day.
