Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Skradin Town (Meals: D)
After your arrival in Croatia you’ll be transfered to Skradin, once the capital of Roman Liburnia and the most important war harbor of Croatia and Bosnia in the 14th century. The breathtaking view over the town from the bridge on the highway towards Split was nominated for the prestigious Golden Flower of Europe award for the best sightseeing point on European highways.

Once you settle into your room you’ll head to the hotel lobby to meet the group for a get-together dinner and presentation of the program. Then you’ll be free to enjoy an evening walk around town and to try out its pubs. Overnight at the 3-star Skradinski Buk Hotel.

Day 2: Sea Kayaking – Skradin to Prvić Luka (Meals: B, D, picnic lunch on your own)
Your first day of sea kayaking takes you from Skradin through the channel to the open sea towards Šibenik. In the coastal waters of Šibenik there is an archipelago of about 200 islands in an area of 157 square kilometers. Only 6 of the islands have permanent populations, totaling less than 7,000 people.

The first destination is Prvić Island. This was a resort for nobles in the 15th century, and it was inhabited by priests who built a monastery and later the island’s 2 churches. Over time, the population grew, but at the beginning of this century, it was only around 200. Overnight at the 3-star Hotel Maestral.
Sea kayaking: 5 hours; 25 kilometers

Day 3: Sea Kayaking – Prvić Luka to Zlarin and Around the Island (Meals: B, D, picnic lunch on your own)
Zlarin is a small island on the Dalmatian coast near the Croatian town of Šibenik. Its inhabitants are fishermen, sea¬men, coral divers, and spongers. The inner parts of the island are uninhabited and covered with dense forest.

This is one of the few islands in the Adriatic that does not allow access to cars. During the winter the island has a population of 276, but from March to October the population grows significantly, due to the influx of summer residents. Overnight at the 3-star Hotel Maestral.
Sea kayaking: 4-5 hours; 25 kilometers

Day 4: Sea Kayaking – Prvić Luka to Kapriji-Kakan (Meals: B, D, picnic lunch on your own)
Leave Prvić behind and continue your kayaking trip to Kaprije Island, which is located in the central part of the Šibenik archipelago. The island features a very indented coast and is covered bylush vegetation. The only settlement on the island is also called Kaprije. On the southern side of Kakan Island you’ll see stunning examples of the traditional stone walls called suhozid. Overnight at the Guesthouse Kaprij.
Sea kayaking: 4-5 hours; 25 kilometers

Day 5: Sea Kayaking – Žirje Island to Kaprij (Meals: B, D, picnic lunch on your own)
Žirje Island is the only permanently inhabited island of the archipelago. It consists mostly of limestone, with a few fertile karst fields. The inhabitants tend their vineyards, olive groves, and orchards. Overnight at the Guesthhouse Kaprij.
Sea kayaking: 5 hours; 25 kilometers

Day 6: Sea Kayaking – Kaprij to Prvić Luka (Meals: B, D, picnic lunch on your own)
On the way back to Prvić Island you’ll follow the outside coast line. There are 2 settlements on the island: Prvić Luka and Šepurine. The inhabitants here work in their vineyards, olive groves, orchards, and vegetable gardens, and some are fishermen as well. Overnight at the 3-star Hotel Maestral.
Sea kayaking: 4-5 hours; 25 kilometers

Day 7: Sea Kayaking – Prvić Luka to Skradin (Meals: B, D, picnic lunch on your own)
On your last sea kayaking day you’ll head back to Skradin. On arrival in Skradin, depending on the time, you might make an optional visit to the Krka River National Park, enjoying an afternoon walk from Skradin to the 44-meter-high Skradinski Buk waterfall, and a swim and a picnic lunch.
