First of all, I have to give a big shoutout to my tour guide Aleksandar. His English is clear and impeccable, as well as his overall knowledge about Skopje, Macedonia and its history. Not to mention he has a great personality. We toured the most notable spots in the city and had 10-20 minute stops at places like the Mustafa Pasha Mosque and Skopje Forttress. I learned so much in those 2 hours which went by so quickly thanks to how engaging the tour was. Since there were only 3 of us, it was basically a private tour. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Skopje
Alexsandar is a phenomenon. His level of knowledge on Macedonian and European history, politics, language, art, art history is incredible. He is incredibly passionate, positive and funny about all these subjects. To highly recommend this tour is the understatement of the century.
