Your tour begins at 8:00AM with pickup from your hotel. From there your traveling time to Skopje (including the border check) is about 4 hours. Once having arrived, you will receive a 3-hour guided tour throughout which you will see parts of both the old and new town areas. The old town starts from the hill fortress from where you can take in beautiful panoramic views over the town. Traveling further you will visit some of the old churches and a famous old trade street from the Ottoman period. Later on you will cross the Varder River, continuing to the new part of town where you will see the newly built triumphal arch of Macedonia. You will also have one hour of free time for a lunch break in a traditional restaurant, and at the conclusion of your tour your expected return time to Sofia is between 7:00PM and 8:00PM.
