From Ljubljana: Skočjan Caves Half-Day Trip

The Škocjan Caves are a unique natural phenomenon, created by the Reka River. The Reka River springs below the Snežnik plateau and flows for 55 kilometers (34 miles) on the surface. After reaching the karst — that is, the limestone surface — the river not only deepens its riverbed through erosion but also corrosion; it dissolves the limestone and creates the caves.

Please book your entrance ticket in advance via link provided below. At 10 AM, begin your tour of the caves, spending around 1 hour and 45 minutes inside.
