Skaftafell: Ice Cave Tour and Glacier Hike

We had the best time on the Ice Cave Tour and Glacier Hike! Our guide was from the Czech Republic and he was such a legend! He brought such good vibes to the group and made the whole experience even better. He also took the time to talk to us about the effects of global warming and how it’s impacting the glaciers, which we thought was really important. Coming from New Zealand, where you can’t just hike straight onto a glacier like this, it made the whole thing even more special for us. An experience we’ll never forget. We would 100% recommend! We had a great experience during the glacier hike, and the activity itself was both exciting and well-organized. A big part of what made it enjoyable was our tour guide, Mihai. He was incredibly cooperative, patient, and attentive throughout the entire hike. Mihai made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and safe, and he was always considerate of different fitness levels and needs. His clear instructions, friendly attitude, and knowledge about the glacier and the surrounding area really added to the overall experience. We truly appreciated his effort in making this adventure memorable for everyone!
