Definitely a unique experience in Iceland. The glacier is an ever-changing ice-scape with ridges, valleys waterfalls, and great views. If you've never had a chance to do some glacier mountaineering, this is a great place to do it. The guides are also awesome and a lot of fun to be around, which really makes the experience more enjoyable.

It's already been three months. It was a very interesting experience. I felt like I was on Mars. There was also a three-hour one, but it was excellent to choose five hours. Three hours is too short. You get off the bus, you have to walk for a long time, and you have to go up for a long time to see a good place. The average person can experience five hours of walking and resting. Don't be afraid. It seems to be necessary to experience glacial activity in Iceland. Thanks to the kind guide, it was a lively tour. It also explains how glaciers were created at every spot. (Thank you, Natalia) It's already become a place to miss. I wish the ice would stop melting, too. ^^

My wife and I booked the 5-hour glacier hike at TRÖLL at the beginning of February. At the beginning I was skeptical whether the tour was not too long and we should have booked the 3-hour tour instead. But these doubts quickly evaporated and we can recommend the 5-hour tour to anyone who wants a real glacier experience! Our guide Vincenzo went to a lot of trouble and seemed to enjoy the tour himself. At first he led us into an ice cave at the foot of the glacier. On the way up, he explained a lot, kept showing interesting details of the constantly changing glacier and also gave breaks to take photos. He drilled extra safeguards high into the ice so that we could lean over the edge of a rift created by the water and thus get a unique insight. After a short meal break and fresh glacier water, we went down again. The time flew by.
