This was perhaps our favorite part of our Iceland trip. An absolutely amazing experience. If you only book one excursion on the island, do this!! Antoine was our guide and we adored him. He was hilarious and knowledgeable. Entertaining in three languages. A great way to see the nature of Iceland.

With Julian we had a great and unforgettable excursion into the glacier landscape. We got a lot of interesting information and useful tips on this tour in a nice and amusing way, got super beautiful and completely new insights into the fantastic world of glaciers and all that although the weather was foggy and cloudy that afternoon. I always thought you needed the perfect weather for nice impressions, but on this tour I took mega-beautiful memories and photos home with me even without sunshine, but in a good mood in the group. We had a very nice tour on the ice. Our guide explained everything well, answered questions competently and nicely at all times, and enjoyed his job. The trip goes to an old outlet glacier and we were on the ice for about 150 minutes. It is good to book the last tour of the day, because at the beginning it was very crowded on the glacier and around 4:00 pm everyone left and we were there alone for 1 hour. You can see crevasses and try glacier water, and you can climb over the steep arms of the glacier. We can unreservedly recommend the tour, also because we were driven to the glacier with our tour. But that is probably not always the case, it depends on the availability of the 4x4 buses, sometimes you have to walk for about 20 minutes to the glacier, as is the case with the tours organized by the Skaftafell National Park. Our group was divided into 2 groups of 8 people each + guide. There was enough time to take pictures.
