The experience starts when you enter the winery. The magnificent rolling vineryards offer a breathtaking view out to Moreton Bay and Stradbroke Island and will be your spectacular backdrop for the rest of the day. In this interactive workshop you'll hear about the history of Sirromet, the Granite Belt region, and have a wine tasting. Reminiscent of Tuscany, relax on the 75 metre timber deck or under the shade of the fig trees in the Amoroso area. The Tuscan Terrace is home to a state-of-the-art kitchen delivering wonderful seasonal flavours of the freshest local produce and ingredients prepared in traditional home cooked Tuscan style. Come to the winery and then meet the guide at Cellar Door restaurant. Immerse yourself in the winemaking history of Queensland's Granite Belt wine region with a behind-the-scenes tour of the winery. Taste 6 of the most popular wines that are made here, and learn about wine-production techniques. After the tour, return to the restaurant to eat. Indulge in a burger, served with a side of salad, chips, and a soft drink. Soak up the ambiance as you enjoy eating in a relaxed environment. Enjoy the spectacular view while you have lunch, and then finish up the activity after you eat.
