The tour was very nice, we took the 5 pm time, the sunset time was a show. I hadn't brought a jacket and it was quite chilly! It was October 30th. The thing I was sorry about was that we didn't "navigate" within the castle walls due to the water being too shallow. I had read about this and was prepared but I thought at least you could get close and take some pictures of the castle from the boat

The boat cruise was fun and started on time. The boat itself was comfortable but be aware that you can get wet when the driver speeds up. We didn't pass under the drawbridge of the Scaligero Castle as described in the activity, but we did enjoy the views and brief narrations (Italian from the boat driver; English from a recording).

Sufficient time spent on each island for sightseeing and souvenir shopping. Comments from the guide in several languages including French. Too bad however that we are forced a little hand for the visit of the glassworks with its obligatory passage in the shop. The only attraction on Torcello Island is a paid church, fortunately the surrounding area is very beautiful.
