Your adventure begins as we meet at the pickup point and head deep into the heart of Lapland — a 15-minute journey through snowy forests and across sparkling landscapes, where silence and nature blend into something truly magical. Upon arrival at our husky base, you’ll meet our friendly, energetic dogs, eager to lead you on a ride of a lifetime. After a short but essential safety briefing from your guide, you’ll take the reins yourself and drive your own sled through 5 km of breathtaking wilderness. The trail winds through a frozen lake and snow-covered pine forests — a picture-perfect Arctic scene. As the sled glides quietly through the pristine landscape, you’ll feel the raw beauty of Lapland all around you: towering snow-laden trees, untouched white trails, and if you're lucky, a gentle reindeer or two wandering through the woods. After the ride, step into a cozy, heated shelter, where you can enjoy a warm drink and cookies, while letting the moment sink in. You’ll also get to spend time with the huskies — pet them, connect with them, and experience their playful and gentle nature up close. Get familiar with the locals' favourite way of moving around in snow covered forest - snowmobiling! Our experienced snowmobile guide will teach you how to drive a snowmobile and lead you to the wintery nature. Wander through the white forest and frozen waters on maintained snowmobile tracks. Enjoy the chance of a lifetime to see what Lapland has to offer. In the middle of the trip we will have a small break to enjoy hot drinks and tasty cookies. This safari is suitable for the whole family! You will be sharing a snowmobile between 2 people. Contact us at least 48h in advance if you need a pick up to come to our office within a 10km radius. Otherwise the meeting location will be our Safartica Office in Levi 20 minutes before the activity time. Missing the meeting time outside reasonable delays will incur the loss of the money paid for the activity. In order to drive a Snowmobile, a valid physical driver's license and being 18 years old is required by Finnish law.

Wonderful opportunity to learn more about the traditions of reindeer herding in Lapland. This activity will grant you the chance to become a reindeer herder yourself, even just for a few hours! Take photos with the animals and experience a sleigh ride! After meeting with your guide you will be driven to meet the reindeers in Levi. The reindeers are happy to act as models – take as many photos with the animals as you´d like! Local reindeer herders and farmers will be there to explain the traditions of reindeer herding lifestyle and answer all the questions you might have about the local life here in Lapland. Learn also about how the herders know which reindeer belongs to them and how the families work together as in the old times. You will also have the chance to experience a short reindeer sleigh ride. Experience an exciting ice-karting ride on a professional track. Get a full safety briefing and then put on your warm clothes and safety gear. Head to the track for a thrilling 15-minute ride. Take a break by the fire with hot berry juice, then head back out for another 15-minute racing session. Come directly to the track or with transfer by shuttle bus. Next, listen to the safety instructions and put on your helmet, balaclava, shoes, gloves, and overalls. Then, head to the track to begin your ice-driving experience. Drive around the course for the first 15-minute session. After the first session, relax by the fireplace near the track and drink some local hot berry juice. Following this, enjoy a second 15-minute driving session. Go to the cafeteria when you finish, or head back to your accommodation.
