Sir Selwyn Selwyn Clarke Market- (Close on Sundays and Public Holidays) Located within Victoria, this is the place to experience how the people of Seychelles as well as visitors purchases their spices, fruits, vegetables and fishes. 3. Seychelles National Botanical Garden- Admission fee 19$ per person A few minutes from Victoria, this is the ideal place for the nature lovers. Here guest may discover the flora such as the famous Coco de Mer and the fauna of the Seychelles such as the giant tortoises. Did you know there is a time capsule buried here as well? 4. Domaine de Val de Pres At this site, guest will have the chance to explore the colonial structures referred to as the plantation house, visit the Koko gallery and get the chance to experience the ‘Grandma’s know-how’ sessions. The sessions showcase the traditional ways of preparing the local dishes, the traditional way of de-husking a coconut and much more. Please note that if you are interested to participate in these sessions, guest needs to booked well advance. 5. Le Jardin du Roi-Spice Garden- Admission fee 12$ per person This garden holds some of the spices which are both endemic and also introduced to the Seychelles back in the 17th century by Pierre Poivre. Guest may also enjoy some ‘to-die -for’ ice-cream made from ingredients in the garden itself, such as nutmeg, lemon grass, cinnamon and much more. 6. Anse Intendance Beach Unwind and relax at what is described by the travelers as one of the most beautiful beaches on Mahe. The distillery is located on a very old property dating back to the 1700's and has been restored to give you the once in a lifetime experience. in house guides can lead you around the property explaining in details how intricate work goes into making the rum. If you have some time to spare you can always go for a quick dip to finish off a perfect trip. Note: this tour is customizable thus you do not have to visit all the above mentioned sites and they all serve as a guide. We will modify the itinerary to your liking so if you have any specific places you would like to visit so not hesitate we will make it happen for you . After the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel or any place you desire. Seemingly suspended in the mountain mists is the tea plantation which you will pass on your descent to the surreal beautiful west coast and the photo opportunity of your say as the road meanders through the picturesque villages on its way to the capital, Victoria. 11 30 hrs- A tour of the colourful Sir Selwyn-Selwyn market, passing by ‘Little Ben’ a famous landmark clock tower and the other fascinating nooks and crannies of one of the world’s smallest capitals. 13 00 hrs – Included lunch with a beautiful marina view at the ‘Maharaja’ restaurant with authentic Indian cuisine. 14 00 hrs – The afternoon is a panoramic tour of the north. A stop at Beau-Vallon Beach, running several kilometres long and incredibly beautiful; rated top in the world. The drive gives a really vivid impression of the island’s diverse landscapes, with views of the deep blue water and lush tropical greenery. The narrow coastal road leads between steep mountainsides and numerous small bays, up to the northern tip of the island.
