A very well-organized, if a bit short trip, to Sintra, Cabo de Roca, and Cascais. The trip included hotel pick-up in Lisbon, which pretty much determined my choice of the tour operator. Thankfully, our guide Ruben turned out to be great! As a guide, he was very knowledgeable about the sights (namely, Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira), and always ready to provide extra details. He was also very pleasant on a personal level, friendly and energetic, doing his best to make the trip comfortable for us. If I'd like to add anything, it would be an extra stop at Chalet Biester in the Sintra tour (since it's right en route to QR). And maybe an additional 30-40 min of free time in Cascais? But as a tourist, I'm always eager to have my tours packed with as many sights as possible, so this is a nitpick really, no more. The tour as it was, was A+ and well worth what we paid for it.

Just need to commend our tour guide, Ruben, for making our visit to Sintra super special. My daughter is autistic, and he really went out of his way to accommodate her together with the rest of the group. His knowledge and explanations in English and other languages were superb! Thank you and thank you!! We highly appreciate all your effort.

Alexander drives the 8-person van and is also your tour guide for the day. He recommends not buying tickets for Pena Palace in advance because if you miss the timed entry (due to traffic or whatever) you lose your entry. But upon pickup, he had been watching the ticket sales all morning, and he said tickets were still available for 9:30 AM, so I bought them online on my phone as we started the drive. He was very knowledgeable about Pena Palace and gave us plenty of time to explore it. Next, it was our decision to go straight to Quinta da Regaleira, or go to lunch in city center. We chose lunch. After that, he walked us to Quinta da Regaleira (about 10-15 min walk). We gave him cash to buy our tickets (as a guide, he was able to skip to the front of the ticket line on-the spot), and he took us on a tour of the grounds. After that, we stopped at Cabo da Roca, then at Cascais, then made our way home. The layout of your day depends on how fast/slow your group is at each stop. 5 stars!
