What people are saying about Sintra
We had a great trip on our half-day Jeep tour. George was a fantastic guide, very engaging and knowledgeable. We had already done some of the things on the itinerary so asked if we could change the route, and he was very obliging - we got to see a lot of places we were hoping to go. The off-road portions were rugged enough to be exciting but not uncomfortable. Beautiful views of the Atlantic Coast, Cabo da Roca, Convent of the Capuchos, Azenhas do Mar and even some dinosaur footprints! Very highly recommended!!
I was unable to make it on time at the pickup point and the guy I talked to on the phone was very helpful and suggested I meet the group at Sintra. He gave me the tour guides info (Fernando)and I was picked up later. I was with 5 other travellers and Fernando was an amazing and funny guide. He suggested other activities we could do, things to try while in Lisbon and gave us a very informative history of Portugal. I enjoyed my trip and it was totally worth it!
Had a great tour of the areas surrounding Lisbon. Our guide, Deborah, was absolutely fantastic. Fully multi-lingual (including French) and highly educated, she made this tour a highlight of our stay. The itinerary itself is brilliant, we got to see aspects of the region that has given us many ideas for a return to Portugal in the next year!
Our guide was Nune. He was a very nice gentleman and very patient with explaining everything. We had some last minute schedule difficulties and they were flexible enough to make sure everything works out for everyone.
Everything was well organized and efficient. The stop for lunch in Sintra was barely enough time to eat however.
