We start with our small group on the Market Square of Bruges. Meet your local guide and pick out a bike that suits you. When you feel comfortable, we go ahead for a bike tour to discover the highlights of the historic center. Ride past the towering Belfry of Bruges and the medieval Gruuthuse palace. Pause to admire views of a red-brick castle by Minnewater lake. Peddle by the windmills on top of the city walls. Head to a medieval city gate to get an idea of what the old city fortifications were like. Cycle along the old harbor to take in views of houseboats. Continue to the garden district of St. Anna. Visit a local chocolate shop. Taste the Belgian chocolate! After a short break we continue to see local street art and a colorful mural! Bruges has so much to offer! Sabrás a qué se refería Anselmo Adornes cuando calificó la ciudad de Brujas como "Universidad del Comercio" y visitarás la Capilla de Jerusalén, inspirada en la Iglesia del Santo Sepulcro de Jerusalén y con una réplica del sepulcro en sí. Verás las Almshouses, una especie de pequeño beguinario exclusivo para mujeres viudas y conocerás la Hermandad del Oso Blanco, quien organizaban justas de caballeros en la ciudad. Verás las calles donde las bolilleras se sentaban a crear el paño flamenco, junto al actual Museo del Encaje. Te hablaremos del Gremio de los Arqueros de San Sebastián, del que formaba parte la Reina de Inglaterra.
