Again excellent excursion but again need to be a local resident so just put Singapore as your country of residence

Having the online ticket meant hardly a queue. The zoo is amazing and it’s easy to get around it in a figure 8 pattern. There are some gorgeous animals - the white tiger was a real star and the capuchins who come down from the trees are so cute! There are a number of shows during the day. We saw the elephant show which was great. The elephants personalities shone through. There are plenty of places to buy good drinks and ice blocks. There are also the restaurants that offer a wide variety of food. The only problem is finding seating. If you find a spot grab it! Getting to the zoo is easy on public transport but the bus doesn’t take the white MRT tourist card so we had to check out a local market (a highlight!) to get change for the S$1.90 fare. Check out transit options in google or Apple maps. We got off at Marsiling on the NS line and used the over bridge to get to the bus stop for the 926 to Singapore Zoo. They run really frequently and drop you at the zoo.

Full description

Set in one of the most beautiful wildlife environments in the world, Singapore Zoo is home to over 2,800 animals from over 300 species of mammals, birds, and reptiles. At the zoo, they roam freely in their near-natural habitats, separated from visitors only by moats and wooden fencing. The park also boasts the world's first free-ranging orangutan habitat in a zoo. With your day admission, you can walk around the zoo, or sit on the tram to enjoy the views. Impressive exhibits include the white tiger, Asian elephant, pygmy hippo, free-ranging orangutan, otter, sun bear, and probosci's monkey. In addition, there are shows and feedings, a waterfall aviary, a bird park, a wet play area, animal rides, and a tropical animal-themed slide and spray shack in the superb waterpark. All this amounts to thirsty and hungry work, which is catered for with the multiple bistros, cafés, and restaurants in the complex.
