Enjoyable trip meandering down the Singapore River taking in lots of historical sites along side some iconic architecture onboard commentary was informative without being boring. I was amused to read a previous comment regarding the woman serving in the ticket kiosk I had a similar experience with I presume the same person and it was clear she didn't like her job but I ended my purchase with a big smile and THANKED HER without a response then added "have a nice day" she then mumbled something about "enjoy your trip" which we did

The boat tour was very good and you should definitely do it in the dark. I just don't understand why I booked this beforehand. In order to redeem the voucher and then get on the boat, I had to stand in the same queue as everyone who had decided there at short notice. The booked time was not kept, you were in a long queue with everyone else, only the tour groups were given priority. That was very annoying...

The river cruise is very good. Great views of Singapore. Excellent recorded commentary. The checkin process is difficult. No direction on where to go if you have a prepaid ticket. Only one queue for tickets and prepaid tickets when we visited. As you have an allocated time for your cruise you think you are going to miss your cruise because the ticket line although short moved very slowly. The reality was it’s a production line. Exchange your Prepaid voucher for a ticket and then get on the queue to wait to board a boat. The woman at the ticket booth was very uninterested in her job and the customers were an inconvenience to her day. If she could have given a little direction when asked instead of just staring at you and waiting for you to work it out yourself which held up the queue the whole experience would have been different. This procedure was repeated for every customer in the line that we saw and she spoke English well so language differences were not the problem.
