Sail off the coast of St. Maarten in a classic schooner on this sunset excursion from Simpson Bay. Enjoy Caribbean cocktails as the sky explodes with gorgeous colors and warm waters lap at the hull.
What to Expect
Cruise off the southwest coast of the Caribbean island of St. Maarten as the sun sets. Known for its laid-back attitude, this trip takes things a step further and will soon have you sipping cocktails as the sky is painted a palette of reds and yellows.
You sail on a classic schooner called Passaat, from the Dutch word for “Tradewinds.” Built in 1911, she has an interesting history and continues to provide guests with unique trips around the island of St. Maarten.
Sit back and relax to a soundtrack of delightful tunes while the wind hits the sails and the sea laps against the hull. Enjoy the services of a bar serving a selection of wines, beers, rums and sodas, as well as homemade snacks.
The relaxing cruise runs every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. Passaat is also available, on request, for private sunset cruises, romantic adventures or wedding parties.

Passaat also can accommodate groups up to 30 passengers for a private cruise
