Day 1: Train Cemetery - Colchani - Hotel de Sal - Isla Incahuasi Start of the tour will start with the visit of the train cemetery to see the old locomotives. Then we go to the community of Colchani (the entrance door to the Salar) where we will find rustic handicraft workshops and the rustic micro-processing of table salt. Continuing with the expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni we will make stops to see salt extractions, eyes of the salar and the hotel of Sal Playa Blanca that currently only works as a museum. Later we will visit the most popular island of the Salar located in the middle of the Salar, the Incahuasi island where we will walk and we can appreciate large expanses of cactus, sea rock fossils and spectacular 360 ° views from the viewpoint. At the end of our tour, we went to our salt lodge to rest Day 2: Ollague Volcano Viewpoint - Lagunas de Altura - Siloli Desert - Stone Tree - Laguna Colorada The day starts with a breakfast at the salt lodge. We start to the viewpoint of the Ollague volcano, to appreciate a volcanic desert landscape and the scarce high-Andean vegetation. Then visit Chiarkota lagoon, Laguna Hedionda (name due to the smell of sulfur), Onda lagoon, Ramaditas lagoon these lagoons are surrounded by flamingos which use them as feeding and resting points during their migratory movements and for the noonday it is tasted lunch on the route. We continue our journey to the Siloli desert where the stone tree is found (strange rocky shape). We continue our way to Laguna Colorada which is very striking because of its reddish color. Continuing, we arrive at the town of Huayllajara where we will taste a dinner, and spend the night in a community family lodging Day 3: Fumaroles - Thermal springs of Polques - Green Lagoon - Valley of the rocks - San Cristóbal - Uyuni The day starts very early in the morning with a breakfast and departure to the fumaroles and cracks in the earth where volcanic lava, sulphurous gases. Following the route we will arrive at the thermal waters (waters that are beneficial for the healing of arthritis) where you can take a bath and restful rest, the water has a temperature of 25 to 32 ° C. We continue the journey through the second desert in our tour of Salvador Dalí which has an excellent panoramic view and resemble this desert landscape. Afterwards, we arrive at the green lagoon (high mineral content gives it its characteristic color), located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano (5,916 masl). Then we went to the town of Uyuni making stops to visit Villa Mar, Valle de las Rocas, the town of San Cristóbal, its Stone Church and finally we continued to finish our tour in the town of Uyuni. Along the trip, visit: Salt eyes, Salt Hotel-Museum (Built entirely of salt blocks), Dakar Monument, Flags of the world, and finally, arrive at Incahuasi Island to appreciate the beautiful view and the giant cactus. At the end of the day, take your time in the sunset with a glass of wine, and get to the hostel for dinner time. Day 2 Visit: Chiguana + Ollague lookout point + Andean lagoons with flamingoes + Red lagoon After breakfast, go to visit the famous lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, with a lot of flamingoes. Later, an exquisite lunch, Siloli desert, Stone Tree. At the final of the day, arrive at Red Lagoon which is inhabited by numerous flamingos, within these species there are 3 varieties: Chilean, James, and Andean. Finally, head to the hotel in the community of “Huayllajara” to have dinner, and rest Day 3 Visit: Geysers Sol de Mañana + Hot Springs Pool + Lookout point Green lagoon - White lagoon - Lincancabur Volcano + Uyuni Very early in the morning, after breakfast, go to "Sol de Mañana" geysers and enjoy a fantastic view along the way; this place has volcanic activity such as fumaroles and geysers (holes of bubbling mud, smoking, and a smell of sulfur). Itinerary Start: Day 1 at 07:00 at your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. End: Day 4 at 13:00 in the center or bus terminal of San Pedro de Atacama (this end time could be modified due to weather conditions or force majeure, so we recommend you to leave your departure from San Pedro de Atacama for the next day after the end date of the tour). Day 1: We will pick you up at your hotel and depart in a minibus from San Pedro de Atacama to the border with Bolivia, passing through the border offices of Chile and Bolivia. Once at the border, we will change vehicles to a 4x4 for 6 people. On this first day we will visit places of the Bolivian altiplano, such as Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde, located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. We will continue visiting the Salvador Dalí desert, the Polques hot springs, with some time for bathing, and the Sol de Mañana geysers, intermittent springs of water that gush at a temperature of 90 °C. We will end the day at Laguna Colorada, nesting center of more than 30,000 flamingos. Tonight we will stay at the Villamar lodge. Day 2: After breakfast, we will take the route to Tomás Lakha, where you can see some pre-Inca cave paintings. Afterwards, we will visit Italia Perdida, a place where the volcanic rock took the shape of what seems to be an abandoned city. Then, we will go to the Vinto Lagoon and the Catal Lagoon, where you will be able to walk and see the typical fauna of the Bolivian Altiplano. Afterwards, we will visit the Anaconda canyon and also the Sora canyon, before continuing to the Chiguana salt flat and arriving at Colcha K where you will spend the second night. Day 3: Very early in the morning, we will start our last day of the tour with a sunrise view of the Salar de Uyuni. After this experience, we will move to Incahuasi Island, a limestone rock formation located in the center of the salt flat that we will be able to walk around and get another perspective of the salt flat. We will continue to the Salt Museum and the town of Colchani, already outside the salt flat. From here we will move to Uyuni, passing by the train cemetery, where we will make a short stop to take pictures. In Uyuni, we will say goodbye to our driver-guide, who accompanied us during the previous three days, and then we will have some free time to have lunch and walk around part of the city. Afterwards, we will meet the driver who will take us back, stopping in Villamar for dinner and rest. Day 4: We will wake up very early to continue our return trip and reach the border of Chile and Bolivia. Once here, and after the corresponding formalities, we will change vehicles to a minibus to return to San Pedro de Atacama.
