Full description

Have an out-of-this-world adventure while drysuit snorkeling in Silfra rift, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Thingvellir National Park. The hidden natural wonder has 100 meters of underwater visibility with bright colors that make the experience almost unrealistic.

Meet your guide and group directly at the site in Silfra and prepare to travel between two continents in the rift. Be guided through magnificent scenery and view Silfra from the surface while the slow current carries you through the stunning underwater landscape.

Stay dry underneath your drysuit or, for the more adventurous, choose the wetsuit to feel the natural cool waters.

Snorkel through the pure and clean waters of Silfra and end the tour in a lagoon often called "the real blue lagoon" because of the bright blue color of its water.

Had a great time on this trip with my wife, who was very worried about getting cold. In the end the drysuits kept us plenty warm and the trip was excellent. The clarity of the water is amaxing and the geological sights under the water are mind-blowing. Do this trip if you have the chance!

We were a bit unsure since the weather was so cold! And although it continued to be freezing, our guides Arturo and the other guy (I’m sorry I forgot your name blue eyed, blonde hair guy :) ) were very nice and patient with our questions. It took a while to go through all the information and getting into your suit. You will get your face, hair and hands wet. Everything else was dry. The actual experience of going in the water and exploring was absolutely breath taking. I’ve never experienced water so blue and green and safe since I’m a bit scared of marine life (lol)! Highly recommend!

Overall a good experience. Water was very cold in February but just about tolerable in the dry suits. Very clear visibility into the fissure while snorkeling. Hot chocolate afterward was a nice touch. Our guide Bjarni was very good, explained everything clearly and kept an eye on everyone throughout. He took decent photos as well.
