Full description

Have an out-of-this-world adventure while drysuit snorkeling in Silfra rift, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Thingvellir National Park. The hidden natural wonder has 100 meters of underwater visibility with bright colors that make the experience almost unrealistic.

Meet your guide and group directly at the site in Silfra and prepare to travel between two continents in the rift. Be guided through magnificent scenery and view Silfra from the surface while the slow current carries you through the stunning underwater landscape.

Stay dry underneath your drysuit or, for the more adventurous, choose the wetsuit to feel the natural cool waters.

Snorkel through the pure and clean waters of Silfra and end the tour in a lagoon often called "the real blue lagoon" because of the bright blue color of its water.

We're lucky that it was sunny on the day of our activity. The guides took their time to explain everything to all participants and answer our questions. We were also sealed up pretty nicely and no water went inside our dry suits. Our guide Eyal made us feel comfortable during the entire activity and he took some nice photos. We had some nice hot chocolate to warm ourselves after, too.

What a mind blowing experience! The dry suits were wonderful and kept us (mostly) dry. The views underwater were unbelievably beautiful. If you get the chance to experience this, do it!! Choose Adventure Vikings because they were amazing and explained everything perfectly. If you’re really lucky you’ll get Doris as your guide, because she’s the sweetest person ever and she’ll make you the most comfortable you can be before entering the water. Overall, 10/10 for the whole experience!

The guides were super nice. Magda was very helpful. I had troubles fitting into the suit and they were very patient and attentive. Its more cold waiting to get in the water then it actually is in the water. I did not feel rushed during the swimming portion and the group maxed out at 6 people per guide so it was not crowded at all.
