  This is a must do tour. The coach picked us up at a near by location (4 minute walk away) as pick up was not possible at our hotel. There was a tour guide on the coach, they explained what was going to happen. We had 3 small breaks, during the tour, where there were toilets and refreshments. The tour itself was excellent, very informative & emotional. The guide explained in detail what atrocities happened in each area. Something we were unaware of - everyone got off at one stop regardless of pick up. Our hotel was a 30 minute walk away. Luckily we had a small amount of charge on our phone so could follow google maps to get back.

  6. Auschwitz-Birkenau: Fast-Track Entry Pass and Guided Tour

  Funded by the Nazi party in 1940, Auschwitz-Birkenau became both a symbol of human suffering and a witness to physical and emotional exhaustion. Learn about the history of the largest concentration camp from WWII with a professional licensed guide provided by the Auschwitz - Birkenau Museum. Your host will meet you at the entrance to the museum, where you will enter with your pre-booked ticket after passing through the security check. The first part of the museum visit takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hours 50 minutes. Between the first and second part there will be a 10-15 minute break, when you can eat your lunch.   Well worth the money, transfer with English speaking driver, who was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Both places are on "must see" list when visiting Krakow.
