After being collected from Granada city center, you will be driven to 2,500 meters above sea level to the top of the Sierra Nevada Road. From here you will head to the most beautiful glacier valley of Sierra Nevada, San Juan Valley. Here you will learn how the ice has been excavating the rocks throughout thousand of years. After this stop we will continue to the magical villages of Pampaneira, where you can have a full hour of free time to explore, Pitres, and make a must stop in Portugos, in Fuente Agria (Fountain of Sourness), the crystal clear mineral waters flow through the Sierra Nevada, traditionally, this water was used by the mountain villagers in las Alpujarras for medicinal purposes due to the high concentration of minerals in the water. Visit Trevelez, the highest village in Spain and widely known for its exquisite Iberian hams, enjoy a tasting of locally made products in Trevelez. Finally continue to Bubion and Capileira, dominating from its height the valley of Barranco del Poqueira, the heart of the charming and picturesque villages, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views and a traditional lunch if you choose this option.

Leaving from the city of Granada at 09:00 or meeting point in Hoya de la Mora, Sierra Nevada at 10:00 where we start the trekking tour, in winter we will use snowshoes and poles to enjoy the snow and ice and in summer only walking sticks, enjoying the views of the fertile plain of Granada, the summit of Mulhacen and the Veleta and on clear days views of the Mediterranean Sea, upon reaching the summit of the Veleta at 3,396 meters above sea level, we will enjoy a well-deserved rest with a picnic lunch and prepare for the descent. The round trip trek has an approximate time of 7 hours back to Hoya de la Mora, and back to Granada at 6:00 p.m. This adventure is adaptable according to the sportive level of each participant.
