Brilliant evening walk around Siena. The guide was a local woman who was able to give personal insights to the culture and history of the city. Her English was excellent and she enabled us to put into context our existing knowledge of the Italian language, myths and history.

Excellent guide, Maria Elena, showed us round the key sights of Siena. We were a group of 4 and there were no others in the tour! Maria was very friendly too. The only negative was the meeting point is described on the tickets as ‘in front of info point’. This is very misleading as we discovered it was outside a sandwich bar - nothing to do with ‘info point’. This could have caused us to miss the tour.

Great tour ... good stories and a knowledgeable guide. One error - we understood that our ticket to the Duomo was valid for multiple entries for 3 days. But it’s only valid for single entry. So, having popped in for 5 minutes before lunch we were denied entry after lunch.
