Take a guided walking tour of Siena and explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site's highlights. Visit the Duomo, also known as the Cathedral of the Assumption, or one of the Contrade Museums when the Duomo is closed on Sunday morning.

Start your walking tour at the Duomo, and marvel at this masterpiece of Gothic architecture that contains famous works of art by Michelangelo, Donatello, and Bernini. On Sundays, enter the Contrade Museums instead, where the Palio horse race collections are preserved.

Walk down Francigena street to admire the city's most important buildings and monuments, including the Monte dei Paschi, the oldest bank in Europe. Pass the beautiful Palazzo Tolomei and get a closer look at one of the finest Italian Gothic palaces.

Conclude your walking tour in the monumental Piazza del Campo and experience the historical beating heart of the city where the famous Palio di Siena horse race takes place twice a year.

Knowledgable guide that was able to share lots of information about her city. Tour was a little slow due to it being in English and Italian but that gave us time to look at the sights. Was worth having the guide to find out more about the local area. Also gave us good recommendations for lunch afterwards.

This is a must for any first timer in Siena. Our Guide was a local lady (this was weeks ago and both my wife and I forgot her name!), Whom explained how the city has worked for the last 400 years or so, and lead us to all most important POIs and the reason for their importance. Very knowledgeable!
