There was a lot of silent time while driving between locations - if the driver had a mic and we had headphones he could have told us much more about the areas and countryside / history etc. The first wine tasting was a bit like the tour guide was reading from the product label - quit flat and boring but the wine was excellent. The second wine tasting was better - excellent performance and interesting. Very lively and up beat presentation. Free time was just about right. So overall the tour was very good but there is room for improvement.

Our driver was both very knowledgeable and fun. We visited two beautiful wineries and one medieval village. I wouldn't really call it a "castle tour" because we did not tour any castles. But it was a thoroughly enjoyable day in spectacular countryside. The rolling hills, the beautiful Tuscan weather (we went in February -- no crowds, beautiful bright blue skies, perfect) and one winery in particular that has been operated by one family for many generations. The settings were gorgeous.

We appreciated our driver coming to our door and the historical information he provided on the way to the different stops. The two vineyards that we visited were great! 5 hours including driving time (picteresque!) was more than enough. I would recommend this tour!
