Start the tour with a visit to some of the city’s most significant sites including the Piazza del Campo, Palazzo Publicco, Palazzo Tolomei, Palazzo Salimbeni, and the ancient Banchi di Sopra. As you explore, you’ll learn which buildings hold UNESCO World Heritage listed status and why. Continue the tour to the Basilica of San Domenico, which is home to the incredible relics of Saint Catherine. Next, stop by the Sanctuary of St. Catherine of Siena, where Saint Catherine once lived with her family. Pass by the Baptistery and the Siena Cathedral (known as the Duomo di Siena), and head inside for a closer look (if the optional guided tour option is booked). Excellent time spent with Ludovica where we had the privilege of being just the three of us. She made us discover Siena thanks to lots of anecdotes related to the place where we were. Finally, we made the visit to the cathedral which is not to be missed !! Go for it with your eyes closed, you won't be disappointed! Thank you Ludovica again for this wonderful moment of discovery!

Excellent 1 hour tour including the history and culture of Siena.

Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting throughout the tour. She was able to bring important events like the Palio to life for us and helped us understand the culture of the Contradas. It was just long enough and ended in front of the beautiful cathedral where we could then enter on our own if we wanted. Perfect introduction to Siena.

Grazie!
