My wife and I had a great time on this adventure that was full of info, some tips and 'secrets' as well as generally had a great time with the host/guide Pol (aka Mr Friday!). It was made especially special because we were the only guests on the tour, picked up by private 'limousine' at our hotel Templation, driving off towards Tonle Sap lake, stopping at a restaurant famous for the Lotus Flowers it also cultivates - learning why the Lotus is such an important flower, how versatile it is. We also heard the tales of the bloody civil war and at times tense situation between the Khmer and Vietnamese families of the lake. Living as they have been for decades, the 900 or so families living on the lake are Vietnamese, yet have no passports and are granted to stay on the lake by the Cambodian government. Had a thrilling time seeing the Crocodiles of the Croc farm before getting to the Queen Tara where we enjoyed our dinner and free flow beverages/alcohol watching the sunset.

  • Siem Reap: 3-Hour Ancient Trails Motorbike Tour

The 3-hour tour will take you to parts of the city's surrounds that few visitors ever get to see. Following a hotel pick-up, your guide will take you to the countryside, passing traditional villages where you can experience the rural culture of Cambodia up close. Escape the crowds and drive your own moto through stunning scenery, as your guide leads you to hidden spots. Cross a bridge that dates back more than 1,000 years, pass a local market in Pradak, and stop at a pagoda to meet a monk! The tour departs twice a day and includes training on how to use your motorbike if you are worried you have little experience.

Really great fun would definitely recommend it. I was luck to be only one booked for the afternoon tour. After showing I could ride the bike. A Honda dream 125cc bike we set off on dirt tracks. Through country side you would not find yourself. Really enjoyed it seeing rural Cambodia. It was a circular trip and some road work in traffic but the guide was great so just a case of following him. You will get dirty as the roads are all very dusty but well worth it if you want to get out of the city. Pick up was by motorcycle too

  • Angkor Wat: Tuk Tuk and Walking Tour

    10. Angkor Wat: Tuk Tuk and Walking Tour

Approach the western gate of Angkor Wat by tuk tuk, and take a short walk to Angkor Thom. Hop on the tuk tuk again for a drive to the Bayon temple and then to the eastern gates, as your full-day tour continues. Climb to the top of the city wall and walk along the length of the wall. Along the way, stop at the second of the eastern gates, and at Prasat Chrung. End your wall walk at the northern gate, then head to a local restaurant for lunch (at your own expense). Board the tuk tuk and head to jungle-enveloped Ta Prohm – one of the most atmospheric of all temples in Angkor. Continue to Angkor Wat, the world’s largest sacred building.

Bob was a really great guide! Super recommended. We did not go to the village near angkor wat because it was very dirty, very narrow and people near there where doing weird stuff. Would like for the guides to take more pictures with the Angkor Wat main temple.
