Although we had reserved tickets for a specific time (and well in advance), our seats were not reserved. We specifically wanted to pick up the tickets the evening before to avoid the stress the next day. Our impression is that they simply accepted far too many reservations for sunrise and then simply pushed the customers back. That is not right.
