Go aboard our minivan to the great Tonle Sap Lake (the biggest fresh water lake in South-east Asia) and gain fascinating insight into true Cambodian life. Be picked up from a Siem Reap hotel and be brought to the pier. Take a private boat to the floating village, located outside Siem Reap. Discover the tall, stilted houses, floating hospital, fishery, old lifestyle of the country and the natural landscape of the flooded Mangrove Forest. Enjoy an optional tour going through the flooded Mangroves forest on a small boat, a great break on the way to Tonle Sap to experience local fauna and flora. End the day by admiring the sunset over the lake.

Day 1 – Full Day Banteay Srei Temples and Grand Circuit Temple   Start your 2 days with pick-up from your hotel around 8:00 AM, you’ll head off to visit the most interesting temples outside Angkor Thom city. Your first stop is Pre Rup Hindu Temple, built in 961 or 962, which combines laterite and sandstone construction. Then, drive to the intricately carved and well-preserved Banteay Srei – the detailed reliefs on this smaller sandstone structure are regarded as the finest and most skilfully crafted in Cambodia.   On the return journey, visit Neak Pean, a Buddhist temple on a circular artificial island within Jayatataka Baray, then continue to Preah Khan temple, a ruined but highly atmospheric mélange of tree roots and crumbling stone structures. Construction was commissioned by the prolific temple builder Jayavarman VII in honor of his father and a visit to this smaller site makes for an interesting contrast with the more imposing Angkor Wat. Preah Khan is currently being restored by the World Monument Fund and in places is in remarkably good condition. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to Siem Reap after a memorable day of exploration. Day 2 – Temples of Angkor with Sunrise   Spend your day temple-hopping with your local guide to make the most of your visit to the world-famous Angkor complex, a site full of temples built between the 19th and 13th centuries. Begin with pre-dawn departure (between 4:15 and 4:40 AM) from your hotel to catch the sunrise outside of Angkor Wat. Then, explore the interior of the great temple, spending a thorough 2 hours discovering its corridors, central chambers, and upper terraces. Your expert guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the bas-relief carvings and give you insight into life during the height of the Khmer Empire. End your visit to Angkor with breakfast just outside the temple.   Continue the morning with a visit to the Southern Gate of Angkor Thom, flanked by a row of 54 stone figures on each side – gods to the left and demons to the right – and the fortified city of Angkor Thom. See its beautifully crafted central towers, covered in more than 200 enormous faces, before exploring the famous central terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of Elephants. Finish your day with a visit to the temple Ta Prohm, once home to almost 3,000 monks. Return to your hotel at approximately 1:30 PM.  

Discover the floating village of Kampong Phluk, just a 45-minute drive from Siem Reap. Relax on a trip through authentic Cambodia, past markets in the small town of Roluos.  Enter a sustainable and self-sufficient community that has thrived since the civil war ended. The distinctive houses set among beautiful mangrove trees are raised on stilts reaching up to 9 meters high. In the wet season (May to Feb ), see the locals and able travel by boat to see school, work, and the pagoda as you explore the same way with your small group. On arrival, you will be introduced to a stunning Hindu and Buddhist church, covered in colorful murals that illustrate how the religions coexist in Cambodia. In the dry season, before the water level rises, there's an opportunity to walk along the main street to see local people's daily lives and the creation of new houses. They are content with their way of life and happy to see foreigners because tourism is an important part of the local economy. The majority of the 1,000 families are fishermen and farmers. The children in particular are friendly and inquisitive. Enjoy multiple restroom stops and chilled water that is provided throughout the tour. After making your way through the village, head out to the mighty Tonle Sap lake, where a riverboat will take you to the floating restaurant with delicious food and some exotic options. Chill out on the lake and watch an inspirational sunset that glows, a memory that you'll never forget. After sundown, together retrace your path from throughout the afternoon, and the minibus driver will take your group back to the city, with drop-off at your accommodation.

You will be picked up from your hotel at between 8:00 a.m to 8:30 am and head directly to purchase the Angkor pass. Afterward, we head to one of Cambodia's jewels, the impressive Angkor Thom, which was the fortified "Great Royal City" built in the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. At the South Gate, we can see the imposing statue of Avalokiteshvara, which appears in the Tomb Raider movie. Next visit is Bayon temple, in Buddhist style and adorned with hundreds of faces made of stone, and also explore the Terrace of Elephants, former Royal Palace, Phimeanakas, Terrace of Leper King, and Baphoun temple, It is considered the largest Hindu temple in Angkor Thom city. Then, we drive to Ta Prohm temple, which has been left in its original state and is partly overgrown with trees and huge roots. It was also used as a backdrop for the film Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant cooked by local chief and then visit the most authentic village"Phum Preah Dak" where you can learn how the local people make palm cake and palm sugar. In the afternoon, start to visit to the fascinating Angkor Wat, the largest sacred building on the planet and an icon of the Khmer civilization. It was built by King Suyavarman and is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. It contains hundreds of decorations that cover the walls and the longest bas-relief in the world. It is surrounded by a giant moat, and its five towers are part of the Cambodian flag, and from the top you can see the impressive and dense jungle. Climb up mountain of the Phnom Bakheng for sunset and then transfer you back to your hotel.

Follow the footsteps of holy Hindu men, Buddhist rulers, and Khmer kings on a guided day trip from Siem Reap to see the highlights of the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park. Day 2 Within the Angkor complex are other magnificent temples. Preah Khan is the biggest temple on this loop, built by King Bayon for his father. The water around Neak Pean Island temple was used for bathing and health in the Angkor period. Ta Som has a distinctive big tree over the east gate and is formed with lots of sculptures of dancers with long hair; it was built for the king's sister. East Mebon, built for the ancestors, used to be in the middle of a reservoir and was constructed as early as the 10th century. Pre-Rup was built by the king for himself; often mistaken for a crematorium, a stone structure that looks similar to a coffin was used by Hindus to meditate within at the full moon. On the way back, enjoy a brief stop and discoveries with an ascent for sunset at Bakheng mountain temple. Day 2: Angkor Wat at sunrise, Ta Nei & Ta Prohm Temple, Angkor Thom Bayon  Begin with a pre-dawn departure for sunrise outside of Angkor Wat. Enter the great temple in darkness (please bring a torch) from the little-visited eastern side, and creep along hoary cloistered corridors past the longest stretch of bas-relief carvings in the world. End your tour at Angkor with breakfast outside the temple. Continue by moving on to the jungle-enveloped Ta Prohm – one of the most atmospheric of all temples in Angkor. Once home to 2,740 monks, Ta Prohm today looks much as it did in the early 1850s, when French explorer Henri Mouhot ‘rediscovered’ this crumbling site. Move to drive to Ta Nei, a late 12th Century stone temple located in Angkor. You will be picked up at 2:30 pm from your hotel in Siem Reap and visit SATCHA is the first Cambodian handicraft center that incubates local artisans, mixing traditional knowledge with contemporary design to showcase Cambodian’ talents to local and international visitors and to transmit these know-how over time while having a sustainable social, economic, and environmental impact, and then we'll go directly to the Kampong Phluk, flooded & fishing village of Tonle Sap lake, located just 21 kilometers from Siem Reap town. Once in the lake port, we'll take a local boat from the ferry to explore the famous floating villages of Kampong Phluk. There, you can see firsthand what everyday life is like for the many families who make their living primarily from fishing. Most families live on the lake shore in brightly colored houses on long poles, so the high-water levels are not a problem during the rainy season. Explore the flooded mangrove forest surrounding the area, which is home to a variety of species, including crab-eating macaques and 3,000 inhabitants. We will then take you to visit a Buddhist monastery built on an artificial island and enjoy seeing the sunset from a local boat on Tonle Sap Lake. Then before transfer you back to your accommodation, we drive you to see the most popular night market in Siem Reap for the local people, and explore food store, insect market, fruit stores and mobile clothes stores.

You will be picked you up from your hotel at 8:00 am and take you to purchase a ticket of Kulen Mountain. We will then head to Phnom Kulen National Park for approximately 1 hour. This journey takes you through rural Cambodian villages, where you may observe locals going about their everyday lives and admire beautiful landscapes such as rice paddies and traditional dwellings. Stop off at the Palm Sugar Village and witness how Cambodian people make their own sugar to supply their families and villages. Afterward, we continue to the hilltop of Phnom Kulen, and our knowledgeable local guide will take you to the most spectacular tourist attractions in the national park, including the largest and most beautiful waterfalls, the reclining Buddha sculpture, and the River of Thousand Linga, which was constructed in 802 AD. In the afternoon, we will have lunch at the local restaurant before heading to Beng Melea, the mysterious 12th-century temple in the middle of the jungle. This temple is heavily overgrown with vegetation, trees, lianas, and mosses. This temple is surrounded by a rainforest due to it being abundant for over 300 years. When it is not fully restored, many local and international tourists fall in love with the area. Continue to take a local boat from the ferry to explore the famous floating village of Kampong Phluk.
